Martha McHan Giddens age 74, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, at the Chapel of All Faiths with Dr. Jerry Pickard and Dr. Brandon Furr officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Giddens was a native of Rutledge but had made her home in Milledgeville. She worked for Central State Hospital for many years and retired as Personnel and Business Manager with Oconee Mental Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary McHan, her husband Quinton 'Gid' Giddens, Jr. and her brother Morris McHan. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Jay Giddens (Mary), Ricky Giddens (Denise), and Matt Giddens (Tara) all of Milledgeville, 8 grandchildren: Quint, Seth, Abby, Hunter, Luke, Shelby, Andy and Elizabeth Claire.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund.
