  Died: OBITUARY Edna Mae Toole NOVEMBER 8, 1928 - NOVEMBER 28, 2017 Obituary of Edna Mae Toole Edna Huffmaster Toole, 89, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Lizella United Methodist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Clint Johns and the Rev. Josh Gale will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5 - 7 p.m., Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Lizella United Methodist Church, 2920 South Lizella Road, Lizella, GA 31052. Mrs. Toole, wife of the late James Wiley Toole, Jr., was born in Quitman, GA the daughter of the late Henry Robert and Emma Sue Johnson Huffmaster. She lived in Lizella a number of years and was a Dietitian retired from Bibb County Board of Education. For more than twenty years, Mrs. Toole served lunch and a smile to thousands of children at Minnie Burghard Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Toole and a beloved grandson, Taylor Toole. Mrs. Toole was a member of Lizella United Methodist Church and was a former member of Lotts Creek Church of God, Mt. Vernon, GA. In all things, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by those she loved most, her daughter, Carol (Stacey) Tharpe; her son, James Toole of Milledgeville; three beloved grandchildren, Faith Bloodworth, Travis Toole and Tyler Toole; her brother, Jason (Winifred) Huffmaster and several nieces and nephews.
